In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top news and magazines apps on the Android platform in Argentina showcased diverse trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. demonstrated a consistent rise in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $6.9K by the end of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 42.4K during the week of March 24, while active users remained robust, varying around 5.8M throughout the quarter.

Noticias Locales experienced a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with a high of 9.4K in the final week of March. Active users also saw an upward trend, growing from 103.7K to 146.5K over the quarter.

Substack maintained a steady download rate, with minor fluctuations around 400 downloads per week. The app's active users initially increased, reaching over 6.5K by early February, before experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 5K by the end of March.
